2021 numbers are in and the start of 2022 is shaping up to be an unparalleled time in history to sell a property.  The demand is strong.  According to Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors, Lawrence Yun, 6.18 million homes were sold in 2021.  This was the largest amount of homes sold since 2006.  

Along with a strong demand we have a very limited supply.  Also according to NAR the average length of time a home sits on the market is 1.8 months in December of 2021.  This is the lowest amount of inventory in many many years.

There are simply not enough people moving into senior housing due to a shortage of that type of housing in our area and not enough single family homes for the millennial first time home buyers!  

All of these factors have made it a once in a lifetime opportunity to sell a home with the maximum amount of leverage as a seller.  Buyers know they have to be flexible in order to be the winner of a successful bid. That could be price, time frame or terms.
